How do I order?

Ordering via our online Bodyboard Shop is actually very easy.  Here's all you have to do: 

There are only three steps to placing any order.  They are:

  • Gather the items you want.
  • Type in your shipping and credit card information.
  • Submit your order.
Below are the step by step details.

Gather the Items You Want:

  • Browse our online Bodyboard Shop by clicking on the "Store" button from any page, or,
  • Click on any item on our Side Menu to go directly to a section or product listing.
  • On each page of our Bodyboard Shop you will find a list of manufacturers or products.
  • Click a manufacturer name to see the list of their products we offer.
  • Click an item name to see a picture of the product and get more details on it.
  • From an individual Product Screen, click  the "Put in Shopping Cart" button to select that product for your order.
  • On the Shopping Cart Screen you can change the quantity of any item.  Simply highlight the quantity number, then type in the quantity you want.
  • Click the "Update Shopping Cart" button if you have changed any quantities.
  • From the Shopping Cart Screen you can click "Continue Shopping" to select more products for your order, or,
  • Click the "Proceed to Checkout" button to begin the order process.
  • To continue the order process click the "Proceed to Checkout" button.
Type in Your Shipping and Credit Card Information:
  • The next screen is the Shipping Information page.
  • Find the first three numbers of your zip code in the ranges listed in the UPS Zone Chart.  The number to the right is your UPS Zone Number.  If you are in Alaska or Hawaii skip this step.
  • Scroll down to the Shipping Information form.
  • Click the drop down arrow in the "Method" field and find the UPS Zone Number you found in the chart above.  The number to the right of your UPS Zone Number is your shipping and handling charge in US Dollars. If you are in Alaska or Hawaii, find USPS Priority Mail - Alaska/Hawaii.  The number to the right is your shipping and handling charge in US Dollars.
  • Complete the remainder of the form.  If your shipping and billing information are the same, Click the "Same" check box in the Billing Information section then go directly to the credit card info section.
  • Make sure that the information you type is correct.  Please use appropriate capitalization, as what you type will be used by UPS or the Post Office to deliver your order.
  • IMPORTANT!  Do NOT use spaces or hyphens in the credit card number field!  Authorize Net, our credit card clearing service, only recognizes numbers and will reject submissions containing any other characters.
  • When you are sure that all the information in the Shipping Information form is correct, click the "Preview Order" button.
  • This last screen is the Confirm Order page, and it gives you the opportunity to, once again, verify that everything is correct.  If you find any errors, simply click the Back button on your browser, make the correction, and click the "Preview Order" button again.
Submit Your Order
  • When you are sure that all information is correct, click the "Order Now!" button to submit your order.
  • If there are any errors in the credit card information you entered, or a required field is empty, you will get an error message and instructions.  Follow the instructions and resubmit.
  • Once everything is submitted correctly, you will get a message that your order has been processed.
How much is shipping and handling?

Shipping and handling is determined by the weight of your order and the distance it has to travel.  We ship via UPS Ground Service in the Lower 48 States and via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail to Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPOs.  You can find out what the shipping and handling charge will be by going through the order process on our Web Site, but not actually placing the order. 

There are only two steps to determining what your shipping and handling charge will be.

  • This next screen is the Shipping Information page.

  • Scroll down to the Shipping Information form.

  • At this point you can quit your browser, and your order will be cleared.  Or you can continue the order process.  If you want to continue the order process click here for further instructions.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Depending on where you live, and if we have all of your order in stock, it will take 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.  We are located in Oceanside, CA, so the further from us you live, the longer it will take.  If we are out of stock on any item, we will let you know as soon as possible via email, and give you all the alternatives that are available.  Please make sure that the email address you give us is correct and complete, so we can reach you if necessary.  Also, keep in mind that manufacturers change graphic designs and sizes frequently, so items are subject to change without notice. 

What size board should I buy?

Please check BZ's Size and Weight Chart Below.  You will notice that the major factor to consider when picking a board is the length.  The longer the board the more weight it can handle.  Height should also be considered.  A board that is to long for the bodyboarder will be more difficult to control.  By using the chart below you will get an idea of the size to look for and can use the same parameters when checking out other manufacturer's boards.

Who is 4-Bodyboards.com?

4-Bodyboards.com is located in Oceanside, CA.  Our skateboard site, 4-Skateboards.com, has been open since 1999 and was opened because we thought the price of skateboarding was just too high.   This site opened in March of 2002, and our approach is the same.  We save the bodyboarder money by keeping our costs low and passing on the savings. 

Can I order by mail or fax?

Although we plan to open a full mail order division, we do not offer a catalog or mail order service at this time.  However, you can use our Web Site to order by mail.  To do so, use the following procedure:

  • Complete the remainder of the form.  If your shipping and billing information are the same, Click the "Same" check box in the Billing Information section then go directly to the Credit Card Information section.
  • Make sure that the information you type is correct.  Please use appropriate capitalization, as what you type will be used by UPS or the Post Office to deliver your order.
  • If you are using a credit card, type in the correct information. If you are paying by money order or check type in a single zero.
  • Click the "Preview Order" button.  This takes you to the Confirm Order page.
  • Print this form using your browser.  If you are paying by credit card sign the bottom of it and date it.
Mail or Fax Your Order
  • Send the printed Confirm Order page (signed and dated if you are paying by credit card) along with your check or money order to:  4-bodyboards.com, 3856 Kelton Dr, Oceanside, CA  92056, Attn:  Mail Orders.
  • For credit card orders only, you may fax the printed, signed and dated Confirm Order page to:  760-757-4693.
  • Money order and credit card orders will be processed promptly.  Checks take an additional week.
